Most of us can still remember the chaos and disorganization of our elementary school hallways. The bell rang and we ventured into overflowing, packed hallways, joining running and screaming kids in a trek across a kid jungle.
Floor markings can help tame hallways that have gotten too far out of control. Several years ago, the reality TV program School Pride featured a hallway installation of our industrial floor tape, Superior Mark™. Of course, we were thrilled! The photographs below are from Lanier Elementary School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Though typically used in industrial facilities, Superior Mark™ Floor Tape is finding a place in schools, especially in school corridors. It has also been used frequently for marking areas where schoolchildren line up.
School kids will not be able to damage the 32-mil-thick PVC tape, which was designed to withstand forklifts dragging heavy pallets. If a school’s needs change, the self-adhesive tape can be removed without damaging the floor.
Floor markings can help calm school hallways and encourage traffic to flow smoothly. Hallelujah! we can almost hear teachers say.
